DOUBLE SOCKET BENDS

Kejriwal Castings manufactures Double Socket Bends (also called Double Socket 90°, 45°, 22.5°, 11.25° Bends) for changing the direction of pipelines with socket ends on both sides.

Key Features:

  1. Both ends are socket type (push-on joint compatible)
  2. Available in standard angles: 90°, 45°, 22.5°, 11.25°
  3. Also available as Duckfoot Double Socket 90° Bend (with base support)
  4. Made from Ductile Iron, compatible with push-on joint pipes

Use:

  1. Underground pipelines for water supply, irrigation, and sewerage
  2. Where flexible push-on joints are preferred

MECHANICAL JOINT BENDS

Kejriwal offers Mechanical Joint Bends (MJ Bends) with mechanical gland-type ends on both sides.

Key Features:

  1. Both ends have mechanical joint (gland + bolts + rubber gasket)
  2. Provides a restrained and secure connection
  3. Available in standard angles: 90°, 45°, etc.

Advantages:

  • Suitable for higher pressure and where extra restraint is needed
  • Easier to install in some conditions compared to flanged bends
