SADDLE PIECES
Kejriwal Castings manufactures Ductile Iron Saddle Pieces for easy branch connections on existing pipelines without cutting the main pipe.
1. Saddle Pieces – Screwed End
- Branch Size: 15 mm to 65 mm (screwed end)
- Working: The saddle is supplied in two halves with a rubber pad on the bottom. A hole is drilled on the main pipe at site, the saddle sits on the hole, and bolts are tightened to create a leak-proof branch connection.
- Use: Ideal for small-diameter service connections (house connections, tapping points).
2. Saddle Pieces – Flanged End
- Branch Size: 25 mm to 200 mm (flanged end)
- Working: Same two-piece design with rubber sealing. A hole is drilled on the main pipe, and the saddle is bolted tightly to provide a flanged outlet for larger branch lines.
- Use: Suitable for bigger service connections or where flanged fittings are required downstream.
