Various Types Of Joints
Push On Joint:
The most popular and economical jointing system. It uses a specially designed EPDM rubber gasket that provides a flexible, leak-proof seal when the spigot is pushed into the socket.
Advantages: Easy and fast installation, allows angular deflection, no bolting required, suitable for buried pipelines.
Mechanical Joint
A gland-type joint that uses bolts and a mechanical gland to compress the rubber gasket. It provides a secure and reliable connection.
Advantages: Simple assembly, good for moderate pressure applications, easier to dismantle if required.
Flanged Joint:
A rigid bolted joint where both ends of the pipe or fitting have flanges.
