The roots of the Kejriwal Group can be traced back to 1956 in Kolkata, West Bengal when they ventured into casting production. Today, with operations/supply across 40 countries, we are a leading player in the water and sanitation field with pipes, fittings, valves, manhole covers, maintenance items, accessories, and so on. We trace the highlights of this remarkable journey.
1956
Our Journey Began With The Establishment Of Our First Foundry In Belur, Howrah, West Bengal.
1991
A Foundation stone was laid for Kejriwal Castings.
1994
Kejriwal Set Its Footprints On The International Market.
1996
New Foundry Unit Was Set Up.
1999
An innovative approach to pioneer manufacturing of Ductile Iron products in cupola furnaces.
2004
Foundry shifted to a new location to enhance capacity and imbibe new technologies including, rotary furnace, gradually shifting to induction furnace.
2014
Additional facilities were established for machine moulding, which led to a further increase in capacity and meeting stringent international standards.
2020
Another unit was set up at Durgapur to become only the 9th manufacturer of ductile iron pipes in India.
2020
The first dispatch of our Ductile Iron Pipes was for the International market.
2021
Moving towards Green iron and reducing carbon footprint by installing 1.4MW solar power plant unit.

We envisage immediately enhancing our capacity substantially for all our products by adopting environment-friendly innovative technologies and backward integration.
